Therapy for teens, families, and individuals
Marling is a family name and tribute to my nuclear family which changed dramatically when my mother died. I was fourteen years old. As a young adult, I greatly benefited from therapy and a healing space to process grief.
Marling is also the process of mixing "good earth" or natural elements together for fertilizer to yield healthy crops. I view therapy as fertilizer for the mind, body, and spirit creating an enriched foundation upon which we build the lives we want.
In therapy, we will address what isn't working and unearth and process feelings to honor passed experience and create a future life worth living. I use a blend of therapeutic interventions (including ACT, DBT, and family systems) and enjoy working with teens, individuals, and families.
